The Toutao (“Courage Peach”) is a finely crafted full-tang katana forged from T10 clay-tempered steel, combining sharpness, durability, and refined aesthetics. The authentic hamon temper line reveals the precision of its differential heat treatment, ensuring a balance of cutting power and resilient flexibility.

The blade features a smooth, polished surface with elegant curvature and crisp geometry, reflecting the simplicity and discipline of traditional craftsmanship. The tsuba features a dark, clean and restrained design that symbolizes composed strength, while the alloy fuchi and kashira provide a harmonious and sturdy mounting.

The tsuka is wrapped in brown ito, showcasing the traditional diamond-pattern grip. The saya is black and is paired with a brown and yellow speckled sageo, adding a subtle yet distinctive contrast that enhances the katana’s spirited character.
